In 2020, Comms Group supported a major CityFibre rollout across Yorkshire, contributing to the delivery of full fibre infrastructure across key towns and cities in the region.

The project formed part of a wider programme to improve digital connectivity and provide homes, businesses and communities with access to faster, more reliable broadband infrastructure.

Our teams supported the rollout through a range of delivery activities, including civils, duct and chamber works, cabling support, reinstatement and associated network build activity.

Working across busy urban and residential environments required strong planning, safe working practices and clear communication with stakeholders, local communities and delivery partners.

This project highlighted our ability to support large-scale fibre programmes and deliver at pace while maintaining focus on safety, quality and public impact.
